- A user can request a films title/s: A user can send a film request to admin@bytude.org. Please be sure to be very specific about the film itself. Admin should never be required to ask follow-up questions about the film itself. Even putting the yearit was made can be very helpfull in fulfilling your request. You are allowed to send requests with multiple movies listed and provide extra sources or details you want the film to include.
- Admin will make certain they attempt to provide said user with their requested film/s: Admin will try their hardest to obtain the media through various means. It will always be legit and tested before "distribution." Media can be downloaded through a service such as FTP or SFTP. You or your software are refered to as the client and I am the remote server. A remote login with be randomly generated for user along with access to their media.
- Admin will write a response to the senders email to inform them of exactly how to get it: This response will include the exact and whole name/s of the file/s the user has been allowed to access, the remote credentials used to gain access, and a reminder of how to log on. In case you are unaware of how to use FTP, I made a short, simple guide here.
- That sender will be given a login to access the media which is only valid for about 10 days: About 10 days after the response email is sent, the provided password is once again randomized and will become invalid.
- The user can then proceed to download their requested media: After following the given instructions from the email, you should have access to a remote file-system from your FTP client. Downloading the content is pretty straight-forward.
